Queenstown offers some of the best sunrises the eye can see. This workshop combines hiking, community and understanding how to capture the perfect sunrise shot. We will guide you through the right location, settings and the rule of thirds to lock in the perfect angle to get the best out of your camera. Our location may be governed by the weather to utilise the best light conditions to capture the incredible sunrises Queenstown has to offer.
Our instructors have over 10 years experience and are ready to pass on the knowledge to help you level up, learn new skills and capture the perfect shot. This workshop is based on beginner - intermediate, introducing you to shooting in manual, or extending your knowledge to the next level.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
• Aperture
• Shutter-speed
• Shooting in Manual mode
• Long exposure and working in low light
• Understanding exposure and composition ​
After going through the basics, adjusting settings and utilising your camera to capture the sunrise in Manual Mode we will guide you with small adjustments to enhance your shot. You might even be lucky enough to capture that beautiful burst of pink sky that Queenstown is known for.

• DSLR Camera with "Manual Mode"
• Tripod​
• Wide Angle lens is recommended
• Any other lenses you may have
• A smile

Our Workshop is weather dependent, if by chance we have to cancel we will do our best to accommodate to another weekend.
